WOMEN SIPPING ON LIFE (with doctor shannon)

May 29, 2020

Kim McMillen said, “When I loved myself enough I learned to grieve the hurts in life when they happen instead of making my heart heavy from lugging them around.”

We all know that procrastination keeps us where we are. There is no worse type of procrastination then procrastinating your feelings. Seriously.

It will keep you heavy.

It will keep you fruitless, by robbing you of your fruit. Your harvest.

If you don’t have fruit, then you’ll end up eating yourself.

Remember, it’s not what you’re eating, as much as it is what’s eating you.

It will eat you from the inside out.

It's time to...

Face your hurts.

Face your pain.

Face your loss, or losses.

Face yourself.

It’s time for a face off.

Eye to eye.

Nose to nose (knows to knows.)

Heart to heart.

It’s time for a F.A.C.E. off.

Feel.

Grieve. Cry it out!!

It’s like taking out the garbage. You’re grateful for what you received from what was in the containers or connected to the food, but now it no longer serves you. Let it go.

Once you stop feeding the pain, you can feed the healing.

Appreciate.

Give thanks for yourself by acknowledging where you are in your journey.

Create.

Allow your emotion to put you in motion to create something new.

Engage and energize.

Connect with your heart and soul as you release yourself. Give yourself permission to let go of who you are to become who you’re becoming.

Whatever it is that you’re carrying around with you, it must be worthy of your life.

Is it worthy of your life?

Please grab your SACRED S.O.L. D.A.T.E. JOURNAL (Daily Action To Engage yourself.)

TODAY’S SACRED S.O.L. STEP:

What area of your life needs to grieve?

Cry it out. And F.A.C.E. it today.

(This is based on the profound little book, When I Loved Myself Enough by Kim McMillen and Alison McMillen-Givnish. You can order a copy HERE.)
